Point Dedicated Services seeks an experienced Mexican Carrier Base Manager (MUST BE FLUENT IN ENGLISH AND SPANISH -SPEAKING AND WRITTEN COMMUNICATIONS)

This position will report directly to the Terminal Manager.

Responsibilities specific to this position :

• Communicate daily with Mexican carrier base to establish coverage on freight entering and departing Mexico.
• Utilize our TMS system to update our teams, customers and carriers.
• Plan and coordinate the daily schedule of loads.
• Negotiate Rates with current providers, while making sure we continue providing and receiving the same expected service.
• Assign, dispatch, monitor and update international shipments, utilizing provided company tools.
• Manage customs paperwork needed to assist partner carriers and / or our trucks crossing the border.

Qualifications :

High School diploma / GED required.

Must be bilingual. (English / Spanish)

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and logistics software.
• 2 years of experience in a logistics field.
• Excellent at problem solving.
• Ability to work well in an office setting, managing multiple tasks, and being a team player.
• Have great communication and negotiation skills.
• Ability to be trained and adapt to new procedures.
